The challenge
Orphans are often deprived of basic necessities that support daily care - including clothing and footwear. Many children lack clothes and shoes for harsh weather. Images of children wearing little to no clothing are gut-wrenching; this misery continues every day of every year without intervention.
Program overview
Being an orphan does not mean children do not have needs and feelings. Losing parents does not mean they stopped being human - they are still people. It breaks our hearts that orphans are deprived of basic necessities that support daily care. One of these necessities is clothing and footwear.
Imagine not having anything appropriate to wear in harsh weather - how would you feel? Orphans go through this misery every day. Many unfortunate children do not have clothes and footwear to keep them warm in cold weather.
